The vaccine and autism link
The topic is quite interesting to me and I try to follow the news about it. In an Associated Press article that ran in today's Statesman, a family "won" and will get money from the government for injury caused by vaccines.
Even though this case doesn't set a precedent, I would think this would cause more families with autistic children to try to get money. However, that link has not been proven...

Did you watch the tv show, Eli Stone? I didn't, but D likes it. Apparently there was some controversy because the vaccine/autism story was a plot point.
